The Kühlweins expressed their gratitude, stating, “This charity dinner lives from the solidarity and the sense of community everyone involved-and we are very grateful that we can make a valuable contribution to families in exceptional situations together.”
A Night of Entertainment and Generosity
The dinner offered a blend of social commitment and entertainment, with guests including drama star **Philipp Hochmair**, who performed Schiller’s “Der Daucher.” Also in attendance were children’s aid board member **Karin Schmidt** and many regional entrepreneurs.
**Governor Wilfried Haslauer** attended the event shortly after a handover ceremony.
Silent Auction Highlights
A “silent auction” featured exclusive items, including a private boat tour on the Wolfgangsee, a ceramic set by Gmundner Keramik, jewelry by jeweler Cooked, and a work of art by **Izvor Pende**. A signed megaphone used by **Philipp Hochmair** also garnered interest.

**Mario Hofferer** and his team provided drinks. Culinary delights were provided by the **Berger** family, and the meat was sourced from the **Fuchs** family’s Fuchsensei Buchbichlgut.
Ronald McDonald Kinderhilfe’s Impact
Ronald McDonald Kinderhilfe operates five houses in Austria, supporting families of seriously ill children during hospital stays. Since opening, the Salzburg house has supported nearly 6,000 families.
According to Ronald McDonald House Charities, they serve thousands of families each year, providing comfort and support during challenging times (RMHC Impact Report 2023).
**Karin Schmidt** stressed the importance of donations for the houses’ operation, “Every euro enables us to offer families not only a roof over our heads in a very difficult phase of life, but also a piece of security.”
