Central Michigan Lacrosse at Cincinnati: Game Preview & 2026 Schedule
Mount Pleasant, Mich. – The Central Michigan University lacrosse team is set to continue its early-season road trip with a Friday afternoon matchup against the University of Cincinnati. The game, scheduled for 4 p.m. Eastern Time, marks the fourth consecutive away contest for the Chippewas as they navigate a seven-game stretch to begin the 2026 season.
Central Michigan will return to Michigan on March 14th to host Robert Morris at the newly opened CMU Lacrosse Complex, initiating their 2026 Mid-American Conference schedule. This will be the first home game for the Chippewas this season.
Cincinnati enters the contest following a 15-0 shutout victory over Robert Morris on February 18, 2024. The Bearcats’ offense was led by sophomore attacker Camryn Callaghan, who scored six goals, and senior midfielder Lauren Ottensmeyer, who recorded a hat trick and finished with five goals overall. Cincinnati’s defense also achieved a program milestone, securing their first-ever shutout.
The February 23rd game between Cincinnati and Central Michigan at Nippert Stadium was previously scheduled, according to Cincinnati’s athletic website.
The Robert Morris women’s lacrosse team is also preparing for the 2026 season, with their schedule available online. The Colonials were the recipients of Cincinnati’s dominant performance last year, falling 15-0 in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
