Céline Dion Concludes 16-Concert Paris Residency
Céline Dion concluded her 16-concert Paris residency on Saturday, October 17, 2026, performing before a crowd of more than 30,000 people at La Défense Arena near Paris, lemonde.fr reported.
The Final Paris Performance at La Défense Arena
The French-language star stepped onto the stage at approximately 8:50 p.m. wearing a glittering Chanel haute couture dress. Raising her fist in a victory salute, she opened the evening with “On ne change pas” before an audience of over 30,000 attendees.
Throughout the roughly two-and-a-half-hour performance, Dion delivered a thirty-song setlist drawing heavily from her 1990s and 2000s collaborations with Goldman, alongside English-language staples such as “My heart will go on”. She also integrated covers of Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams” and an opera aria associated with Callas.
“I already miss you! Tonight is the last one. It’s crazy… because I still feel like the first one was yesterday, it goes by so fast, it goes by too fast,” the singer told the audience with a wide smile.

The October 17 event marked the final night of a run that began on September 12, 2026. Across the 16 grand concerts held near Paris, the singer maintained a strict schedule, performing three shows each week on a dark stage featuring a rotating central rock.
Overcoming the Stiff Person Syndrome on Stage
The residency served as Dion’s return to the global stage following her 2022 public disclosure that she suffers from stiff person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that causes violent paralysis. The condition had kept her away from the stage for six years.
The physical toll was visible during the opening night on September 12, when raw emotion overwhelmed the singer during the opening notes of “On ne change pas”, forcing her to temporarily halt the song. While initial performances showed physical caution, her stage presence grew increasingly assured as the residency progressed through its weekly schedule.

Reviewers noted that while her voice exhibited less agility than during her early career, it held firm throughout the demanding performances, despite occasional strain on specific tracks.
Dion Releases New Album Before May Concerts
Saturday’s concert formally concludes this phase of her touring schedule before she returns to Nevada in the United States. In the coming months, she will finalize her upcoming studio album, scheduled for release through Sony in the spring of 2027.
The forthcoming record features collaborations with Stromae, Grand Corps Malade, and Mosimann. Following the album release, Dion is scheduled to return to France in May for ten additional concerts, all of which are already sold out despite ticket prices reaching several hundred euros.
