Casarte Becomes Chief Partner of Australian Open One Point Slam in China

September 29, 2026 Alex Carter - Sports Editor Sport

Haier Group appliance brand Casarte has partnered with the Australian Open to launch the Australian Open One-Point Grand Slam China region as the official chief partner, bringing tennis and AI living experiences across five Chinese cities.

Under the agreement, Casarte will oversee the entire presentation of the tournament’s Chinese qualifiers, designed to bridge elite athletic competition with high-end consumer lifestyles.

The Vision Behind the One-Point Format

Australian Open Chief Tennis Officer Tom Larner explained the global appeal of the single-point format during the launch event. According to Tom Larner, the tournament model succeeds because it creates an accessible pathway where anyone can experience a Grand Slam moment through high-pressure, unpredictable matches that allow ordinary tennis enthusiasts to compete on a grand stage.

The tournament format breaks away from traditional athletic limitations by anchoring competition in passion. This collaborative effort aims to guide promising Chinese players from local courts straight to Melbourne Park.

Five-City Relay Schedule and City Captains

Registration for the tournament opens on September 30, kicking off a five-city relay starting in Hangzhou on October 11, before moving to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Chengdu. In tennis nomenclature, “Love” denotes zero points and signifies a fresh start, serving as the thematic backbone for the nationwide tour.

Each regional stop will feature local influential figures appointed as city captains. These leaders will curate and manage local Casarte city tennis teams, guiding participants through daily training, roster building, and competitive progression toward the official China grand finals in Chengdu, where the ultimate winner secures a trip to Melbourne alongside a million-dollar prize pool.

Integration of AI Living Scenarios

Alongside the tournament matches, Casarte is installing dedicated AI lifestyle experience zones across every host city. These setups integrate the brand’s luxury appliance suites—spanning fabric care, food preservation, thermal comfort, skin-care water solutions, cooking technology, and smart connectivity—directly into the athletic environment.

Following a rigorous match, players can utilize automated washing and drying systems, while specialized refrigeration units provide rapid food thawing and immediate nutritional replenishment. Climate-control systems direct airflow away from heated players, and advanced water filtration provides instant hydration options. Tournament attendees can use interactive feedback walls to share product desires and user experiences, which feed directly into the brand's upcoming research and development pipeline.
