Radio personality Carol Ofori recently revealed a private engagement to her husband, Greg Ofori, at Johannesburg’s Auberge Michel restaurant, a detail she kept hidden until recently.
The engagement occurred before the couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in September 2024, a milestone they marked with a trip to Mauritius and a stay at the Club Med d’Albion resort, according to reports from Times Live and The South African. During their anniversary trip, the couple enjoyed activities such as snorkelling and archery, and savoured the local cuisine.
“Celebrating 10 years of marriage in such a attractive setting was truly magical. It reminded us of how far we’ve reach and how much we’ve grown together,” Carol Ofori shared, as reported by Times Live. She added that Mauritius provided “the perfect blend of romance, adventure, and tranquillity.”
The couple, who tied the knot on August 9, 2014, commemorated their decade together with a photoshoot amidst the Mauritian scenery. “We wanted to commemorate our anniversary in a way that reflected our journey together,” Carol Ofori said. “The beaches of Mauritius offered the perfect canvas for our story — serene, beautiful and full of life.”
Ofori and her husband emphasized their commitment to family and nurturing their relationship. “We sense incredibly blessed to have each other and our wonderful children and we look forward to making our lives special, one moment at a time,” Carol Ofori stated, according to The South African.
