Major Bank​ system Outage to Impact Digital⁤ Services and Transactions

BRATISLAVA – Customers of‍ SLSP ⁣bank will⁤ face notable disruptions to digital banking services and certain⁣ transactions beginning November 22, 2025, at midnight. ⁤The planned outage, lasting for several‍ hours, will impact everything ⁤from online banking access to investment operations and electronic statement⁢ delivery.

The widespread system ‌maintenance is designed to upgrade core banking infrastructure, but ⁣will leave customers ‌unable to‌ utilize key ‍services. While SLSP assures credit card functionality will remain, the temporary unavailability⁢ of digital channels and transaction ⁤approvals poses challenges for those relying on ⁣the bank for time-sensitive payments or investment adjustments.Customers are ⁤strongly advised‍ to prepare ⁤for these disruptions and plan accordingly.

Here’s ‌a breakdown of the scheduled ⁣downtime:

* Digital Services ⁣(George, Business24, Sporopay, ⁤etc.): Unavailable⁣ from November⁤ 22, 2025, 0:00 – 3:00. ⁢This includes the George web and mobile⁤ application.
* Investment Operations: Suspended from November 22, 2025,⁤ 0:00 – 5:00. No purchases,sales,or changes will be possible‍ during this‍ period.
* mToken Transaction Signing: Disabled​ from November ‍22, 2025,⁤ 0:00 – 3:00.
*‍ ​ Partner Portal: Offline from November 21, 2025, 21:30 – November 22, 2025, 2:00.
* New Accounts & Product Changes: unavailable‌ from November 22,⁢ 2025, 0:00 – 3:00.
* Notifications (Push, SMS, Email): Transaction and payment alerts will ‍not be sent from November 22, ‌2025, 0:00 ‌- 3:00.
* Electronic Statements: Statements for November 21,2025,will⁤ be delayed.

SLSP recommends⁢ customers‌ withdraw sufficient​ cash in advance to avoid ⁢payment issues. They⁣ also advise completing⁢ any critical operations before midnight ​on November 21st and to anticipate⁤ temporary disruptions⁤ to‍ both george and card services.‍ According to SLSP, the bank’s credit cards will remain functional during the shutdown.
