Cardi B’s Grow-Good Beauty Launches Pop-Up Tour & Shopify Partnership
Cardi B is bringing her new haircare line, Grow-Excellent Beauty, directly to consumers with the launch of a mobile beauty supply bus, beginning Tuesday in her hometown of the Bronx, New York. The branded bus, designed to resemble a traditional beauty supply bodega, will be located in front of the still-under-construction Hip Hop Museum at 585 Exterior Street and will operate from 11 a.m. To 6 p.m.
The pop-up event marks the first stop on a cross-country tour for Grow-Good Beauty, offering customers an opportunity to explore and purchase the collection via mobile device. A presale will coincide with the Bronx event, accessible exclusively at growgood.beauty. The line, developed in partnership with Revolve Group, is rooted in Cardi B’s personal experiences with hair care and her Dominican heritage.
“So I’m not even gonna lie, when I was younger, I really used to hate my hair,” Cardi B said, as reported by WWD. She described struggling with coarse hair texture as a child, contrasting it with the long, flowing hair of her cousins. Early attempts to remedy the issue with perms proved damaging, leading her to explore Dominican beauty rituals in her mid-20s, which ultimately inspired the Grow-Good Beauty formulations.
The initial product range focuses on repair and hydration, featuring Wash Cycle and Wash Cycle+ shampoos ($14.99), Soft Serve and Soft Serve+ conditioners ($14.99), Get Rich, a nourishing hair mask ($19.99) with avocado, coconut, banana extract and aloe vera, and Everything Serum, a heat and humidity protectant ($17.99).
Shopify is supporting the launch, with Jessica Williams, director of brand partnerships at Shopify, stating, “At Shopify, we’re focused on helping brands build direct, meaningful connections with their communities. We’re excited to support Grow-Good as it introduces the brand to consumers through this community-first activation in the Bronx.”
Following the Bronx launch, the Grow-Good Beauty Supply Bus is scheduled to visit other cities along Cardi B’s “Little Miss Drama” tour route, including Newark, N.J., Atlanta, and Baltimore, offering customers exclusive giveaways and limited-edition items.
