Canadiens Announce Lineup for Pre-Season Game in Quebec City
MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens have revealed thier roster for Tuesday night’s pre-season contest against the Ottawa Senators, held in Quebec City. This marks an important prospect for players vying for a spot on the final roster ahead of the regular season opener. Only one of Monday’s forward trios will remain intact for the game: Kasperi Kapanen will center Alex Newhook and Ivan Demidov.
With the exception of Raphael Blais, all Canadiens forwards competing for a position will be in the lineup.The team will rest its top line, featuring Nick suzuki, as well as defensemen kaiden Guhle and Noah Dobson, who both returned to practice Monday. Quebec native Zachary Bolduc will play in front of his former fans, centering a line with Kirby Dach and Brendan Gallagher.
Bolduc enjoyed meaningful success with the Quebec Remparts, recording two 50+ goal seasons and winning the Memorial Cup. He expressed his eagerness to play in his hometown, stating, “Je me croisais les doigts” – “I was crossing my fingers.”
