Colombian singer Camilo Echeverry‍ has ignited a social media firestorm after disclosing he possesses two paintings created using the blood of his daughters, Indigo and Amaranth. The ⁤artist describes the works ⁢as deeply symbolic personal tributes, but the revelation has drawn significant criticism and discussion online.

During an appearance on ‌the Spanish‍ television program⁤ El Hormiguero, Camilo detailed ⁢the origins ⁤of​ the controversial artwork. The first painting,titled The Blood of an Innocent,came about following a minor injury to his eldest daughter.

“She fell, stumbled on the edge of a table and bled a little… she hugged me and I had a white shirt, with a blood mark. And I said: ‍’Wow,it is‌ the first fall of a human being,'” Camilo explained,recounting his decision to immortalize the moment in art.

The second painting’s creation is linked to the birth ‌of his younger daughter, Amaranth. Camilo recounted that the midwife was delayed,and he ​ultimately delivered the baby ⁣himself. He then took a pillow cover, imprinted with his hands,⁣ and had it framed as ⁤a lasting memento.
