Camille in Concert: The Sound of Milk at La Belle Electrique, Grenoble
French artist Camille will perform at La Belle Electrique in Grenoble on Saturday, October 9, 2027, at 20h, presenting her album The Sound of Milk
.
The Fifteen-Year Genesis of The Sound of Milk
Conceived over more than fifteen years, the ambitious project is structured as a triptych comprising three parts: Naissance (2015), Enfance (2020), and Adolescence (2025), arriving nine years after Ouï
. The work merges a sound journal, a pocket musical comedy, and a pop album. Through these three volets, the autrice-compositrice-interprète addresses themes of joy, the feminine, motherhood, childhood, family in the broad sense, music transmission, and immutable values, while asking how to live daily amid current issues, how to care for children, everyone’s inner child, the living and the Living, and what to transmit to re-enchant the world. Described as tender, lucid, and committed, the album questions our relationship with the world and the future while awakening listeners to love and relighting stars where they went out, with the artist stating: Seule la joie me console, et c’est mon rôle d’humaine, de femme et de mère de la nourrir, de la rêver, et de réparer le monde par le chant en le faisant vibrer à nouveau !
