Arkansas Set to Host Elite Recruiting Weekend with Two Top 10 Prospects on Campus

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – arkansas head coach John Calipari is poised for a significant recruiting weekend, with both national Top 10 prospects Baba Oladotun and Jordan Smith, Jr. scheduled to visit campus October 24-26, according to reports. The visits come as Calipari continues to aggressively build his first recruiting class with the Razorbacks.

The influx of elite talent underscores Calipari’s immediate impact on Arkansas’ recruiting efforts, signaling a potential shift in the programme’s trajectory. Landing commitments from players of this caliber would instantly elevate the Razorbacks’ national profile and position them as contenders in the SEC.The weekend’s visitors represent a crucial possibility for Calipari and his staff to make a lasting impression and potentially secure pledges from two of the nation’s most sought-after recruits.

Arkansas has already hosted a flurry of high-profile prospects in recent weeks. Arafan Diane, a 7-0 center from Iowa United Prep and the national No. 6 recruit,visited september 19-21,following an initial scholarship offer in July 2024 and a prior trip to Iowa United Prep by Calipari.

Other recent visitors include 5-star guard Jordan Smith, Jr. (Sept. 19-21), Tay Kinney (Sept. 26-28), cole Cloer (Oct. 3-5), and abdou Toure (Sept. 12-14). Caleb Holt (Aug. 29-31) and Brandon McCoy, Jr. (sept. 5-7) also completed official visits. Chase Foster, a 6-8 forward, has a visit scheduled with dates still to be finalized.
