Coursannais designer Jean-Luc Garréra does not know the summer break. Always “ fully the balloons“, he continues comic book projects and dedications everywhere in France.
Summer is already busy with the series OM, right to goal! of which he currently puts the final touch to the 22nd volume, a very popular saga with OM supporters and comic book enthusiasts.
Jean-Luc, who did not think, at his beginnings, to extend this adventure for so long, savor the renewed confidence of his publisher and the club. “A great reward”he says.
But that’s not all: he also continues his other series, as Birds (with the bird protection league), Arkéos (in connection with archaeologists), Les Dégueux, Fatals Picards, Fitness Académy, Musicos, La Revanche des Blondesor albums anchored in local history (Roquebrun-sur-Argens, Narbonne). Without forgetting its beginnings with Maniacs bikes, zapping generations For the newspaper of Spirou and many illustrations in the press.
He also started summer in Gruissan, surrounded by fifteen renowned authors and designers for the now traditional “BD restaurant” in the Ayguads, a friendly moment with dedications and exchanges with the public, in the wake of the local BD festival.
This summer, between two projects, Jean-Luc will continue to browse the signing salons around France, as on July 26 at the Sète Sea Theater for his album Fatals Picards. A well -filled summer for this tireless ambassador of comics.
