The One-of-One Bugatti La Voiture Noire-Valued at $18.7 Million-Is Now For Sale
The most expensive new car ever built, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, is available for purchase through a collaboration between SBX Cars, co-founded by automotive influencer Supercar Blondie, and Broad Arrow, a Hagerty company. The unique hypercar, boasting 1,500 horsepower and inspired by the iconic Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic, was originally unveiled in 2019 with a price tag of €11 million (approximately $12.4 million at the time), before taxes. Current estimates place its value at $18.7 million.
This sale represents a rare chance to acquire a piece of automotive history. The La Voiture Noire (“The Black Car”) is not merely a vehicle, but a statement of Bugatti’s engineering prowess and design legacy, built on a Chiron chassis with a dramatically sculpted carbon fiber body and six exhaust pipes. Its 8.0-liter W16 engine,while surpassed by Bugatti’s newer V16 hybrid,remains a defining element of the brand’s identity.
