While a highly anticipated individual matchup between Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka won’t materialize, the event features compelling team contests between LIV Golf’s top squads.
DeChambeau’s Crushers GC are aiming to defend their 2023 Team Championship title, secured with a dominant performance last year. The tournament format begins with team match play semi-finals on Saturday,culminating in a stroke-play final on Sunday to determine the overall champion.
The rivalry between DeChambeau and Koepka has been a prominent storyline in recent golf history. Their contentious relationship reached a peak with “The Match” in November 2021, where Koepka defeated DeChambeau 4&3.
