Broncos Stun Panthers in NRL Semi-final, Ending Five-Year ⁤Dynasty

Brisbane, Australia – The Brisbane Broncos have secured a ⁢place in the NRL Grand Final after a stunning​ 17-16 comeback victory over the Penrith Panthers in Saturday’s semi-final. The win ends Penrith’s bid for an unprecedented sixth consecutive Grand Final appearance and⁤ a potential fifth premiership title in ⁣as many years.

A late conversion from Reece Walsh, followed by​ a clutch sideline penalty goal from Ezra ‌Reynolds in the 76th minute, propelled the Broncos to victory. Reynolds slotted the winning kick with composure, igniting celebrations from the home crowd.

The Panthers⁢ dominated the first half, ‍posting two tries through winger Paul Alamoti and⁣ appearing poised to continue their dynasty under the control of halfback Nathan Cleary. However, the Broncos mounted a spirited second-half​ comeback, fueled by a dominant performance from forward⁣ Payne Haas.⁣
