Braunschweig Carnival Seeks Rhyming Motto Focused on Security for 2026 Parade
Braunschweig’s carnival organizers are actively planning the 2026 carnival train,scheduled for Sunday,February 15th. Zugmarschall Karsten Heidrich and the Braunschweig Carnival Committee are calling on the public to submit creative motto suggestions for the event. The deadline for submissions is August 30th. Entrants are encouraged to propose rhyming two-liners that incorporate the words “carnival” or “Schoduvel” and “security.” Non-rhyming, impactful suggestions are also welcome.

The Braunschweig carnival procession is celebrated as a demonstration of joy and community togetherness. The Braunschweig Carnival Committee places a high priority on ensuring the festival is organized with the utmost security for both participants and attendees. The chosen theme for the upcoming year is intended to specifically highlight this commitment to safety within the carnival train.
