US-based Boston
Consulting Group has named Yasushi Sasaki as its next
Asia-Pacific chair. He will be succeeding Neeraj Aggarwal,
who has led the APAC region since 2018.
Tokyo-based Sasaki has been BCG’s Northeast Asia system leader,
overseeing operations in Japan and South Korea.
Since joining BCG in 2002, Sasaki has focused primarily on the
financial services sector. Drawing on his expertise in banking,
insurance, investment banking, and asset management, Sasaki has
advised clients on a wide range of strategic and organisational
topics, including mid- to long-term strategy, reorganisation,
sales reform, IT, and digital strategy.
Prior to his latest role, Sasaki served as regional practice area
leader for financial institutions in Asia-Pacific.
