BOC Secures Luxury Vehicles in Discaya Probe

MANILA – ‍The Bureau⁤ of Customs⁣ (BOC) has taken possession of 12 luxury vehicles following the ⁤execution of⁤ a ⁤search ​warrant at the Pasig City residence of the Discaya family on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. The vehicles,initially numbering ten as⁢ unaccounted for,where ​gradually secured throughout‍ the day,with the final three expected to be​ turned over shortly.

The seizure stems from an examination into potential smuggling and‌ misdeclaration of imported vehicles linked to ‌St. Gerrard⁢ Construction General Contractor‌ and Growth Corp. The BOC is now reviewing import‌ records for each vehicle to ensure full ⁣compliance with customs regulations, a process that ‌could lead to further legal action. This case highlights ⁣the BOC’s ongoing efforts to combat illegal vehicle importation and protect government revenue.

Among ​the vehicles secured are a Rolls Royce Cullinan, ‍Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes Benz G-500, Mercedes AMG G 63 AMG, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Sequoia,⁤ and‍ Cadillac Escalade. seven vehicles were surrendered to⁢ the BOC and are currently secured at the firm’s compound.BOC Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno stated that the remaining‌ three vehicles ​- a GMC Yukon Denali and ‌two Lincoln Navigator – are currently undergoing⁣ repairs at service centers and will be surrendered‌ upon completion. ⁣Earlier in the day, the search warrant, ‍issued by the Regional⁤ Trial Court ⁤of ​Manila Branch⁤ 18, led to the discovery of a Toyota LC300 ‍3.3 V6 ZX AT SUV 2024 and a ⁢Maserati‌ Levante Modena 2022.

All vehicles are now sealed and under 24-hour guard by BOC personnel and the Philippine Coast Guard. The⁣ Discaya⁢ family may face a probe⁣ regarding the vehicles, ⁣according ‌to reports. (PNA)
