Actress Bobbi Eden Predicts Imminent Failure of RTL Tonight
Actress Bobbi Eden has publicly voiced strong doubts about the future of RTL Tonight, warning host Humberto Tan that the programme is unlikely to succeed. Eden shared her concerns in an interview with Story magazine, stating, “I fear it is a flop.”
After two weeks on air, RTL Tonight is underperforming compared to its predecessors – Beau, humberto, and Renze. The show, a prestige project for Peter van der Vorst, is already facing criticism for its declining viewership. Eden believes continuing with the current format is futile, questioning the need to deviate from established talk show formulas. ”No. It is indeed not going to work in this way. I also don’t really understand why the wheel has to be invented again,” she told Story.
Eden suggests looking to the viewing figures of more conventional talk shows for guidance, adding, “Perhaps it is a matter of a very long breath, but I fear it is a flop.” The future of the program remains uncertain as RTL assesses its performance.
