Blue Falcon Nagoya Soar to Victory in Japan Handball League H Opener
Nagoya,Japan – Toyoda Gosei Blue Falcon nagoya kicked off their 2025/26 japan Handball League H season with a dominant 44-27 victory over Alamos Osaka on Wednesday. the win comes on the heels of Blue Falcon’s runner-up finish in the regular season and subsequent playoff championship win last year, establishing them as early contenders for the league title.
This opening-day triumph signals Blue Falcon’s intent to build upon last season’s success and solidify their position as a powerhouse in Japanese handball. The decisive win showcased a balanced offensive attack and strong goalkeeping,setting a high bar for competition throughout the season.
Blue Falcon’s offense was spearheaded by Diego Martín with six goals, followed by Shu Ishimine with five, and Soya Ichihara and Goki Koshio each contributing four. Goalkeepers Takumi Nakamura and Shoki Narita were instrumental in the victory, recording 10 and 8 saves respectively.
Alamos Osaka saw a strong performance from Riku Maeda, Tokuda Rennosuke, Koyo Ishikawa, and Yusho Shimizu, each scoring three goals. Despite seven saves from goalkeeper Sejuro Tono, Alamos Osaka struggled to contain Blue Falcon’s relentless attack.
The game began with a swift exchange, as alamos Osaka’s Shimizu Yu Show opened the scoring, only for Blue falcon to respond with goals from Koki Kosio, Shu Ishimine, and Toi Kaine, taking a 3-1 lead. The teams traded goals to reach a 3-3 tie before Blue Falcon surged ahead with a four-goal run fueled by Diego Martín and a subsequent three-goal streak from Yoan Barrasquez, extending their lead to 9-4.
Blue Falcon continued their momentum, finishing the first half with a commanding 21-11 advantage.In the second half,they quickly extended their lead to 25-13 and then 32-17 by the 42nd minute. Alamos Osaka briefly threatened to close the gap to 36-25, but Blue Falcon responded with six consecutive goals, including multiple scores from Soya Ichihara, ultimately securing the 44-27 victory.
