Blood Drive in [Location – if known, otherwise omit] – April 1st – EFS & Volunteers
A blood drive is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1st, from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Espace Julian in Lapalud, France. The collection is being organized by the Établissement Français du Sang (EFS) with the support of local volunteer donors.
The EFS and volunteers, led by their president Tony Di-Maggio, are encouraging prospective donors to schedule appointments in advance through the EFS website: dondesang.efs.sante.fr. Donors are required to present a valid photo identification on the day of the donation.
This collection follows a similar event held in Lapalud on August 6th, 2025, also at the Espace Julian, organized to address typically low blood reserves during the summer months. That event, like this one, relied on the support of the Amicale du don du sang and its president, Tony Di-Maggio.
The Espace Julian, located on Avenue de la gare in Lapalud, is identified as an ideal location for blood donation in 2026. The EFS PACA-Corse region is overseeing the operation, designated with ID number 866024 / G17005. The Espace Julian will be open for donations from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
The EFS, a national organization dedicated to blood supply, emphasizes the importance of blood donation as a fundamental right to healthcare access and promotes ethical donation practices.
