Blockia Steam store page launches for block assembly simulation game
A New Studio Forms Around Freedom
The developers behind the acclaimed deck-building Roguelike ANTHEM#9 have joined forces with independent developer 4423. Together, they have established the studio 4th Branch, marking the partnership by launching the official Steam store page for their upcoming block assembly simulation game, blockia, as reported by Game*Spark.
Crafting Worlds Without Rigid Rules
Designed around high-freedom creation, blockia includes more than 120 distinct parts spanning architectural structures, interior furnishings, and natural scenery. The simulation discards rigid objectives and standard answers in favor of an intuitive, low-pressure approach. Players simply select components, adjust colors, and modify placement angles to construct their ideal worlds at their own pace.
Guiding Inspiration Through Templates
For players seeking initial direction, the title features a recipe guide system. Users struggling with inspiration can select templates such as rockets, rabbits, or cozy cottages to follow precise shape and color configurations. Completed template builds can be adjusted and saved, allowing players to refine personal techniques through guided modeling.
Capturing Miniatures in the Photo Mode
To display completed models, blockia incorporates a comprehensive photo mode. Users can adjust camera framing, swap backgrounds, and control lighting intensity and color tone to capture miniature landscapes. Captured images can be stored within an in-game album or exported to social media platforms.
Blockia Targets PC Release in Fall 2026
Developer koeda has previously shared production progress on X. Following the launch of the Steam store page, blockia is scheduled for release on PC in the fall of 2026.
