BISMARCK, ⁣N.D. – Judges within the South Central ⁣Judicial District have formally requested the North Dakota Supreme‌ Court assign ‌an impartial judge to preside over the case of⁤ Lukas​ Turner, a nurse accused of sexually assaulting a child. The request, submitted by Judicial District Presiding Judge Cynthia Feland ‌on Monday, cites potential conflicts of interest.

According to Judge Feland’s written request⁣ to the Supreme Court, local judges ⁢serving ⁣the South Central Judicial⁤ District are acquainted with ⁣the ⁢defendant, ​Lukas ⁢Turner. Further details regarding the nature ⁤of these relationships were not ⁤included ⁤in‌ the official⁣ filing.
