Birmingham Shock: Kushi’s Viral Reaction & 15 Views

A Birmingham-based artist known as Kushi is scheduled to make her debut performance at the Birmingham Mela in Victoria Park, Smethwick, on July 19-20, 2025, according to a recent post on Instagram.

The Birmingham Mela event will feature Kushi, representing UK female talent, in what is described as an energetic set intended to highlight female artists from the United Kingdom. Kushi, who identifies as a certified bridal makeup artist and hairstylist on her Instagram profile, has 70 followers as of today.

News of Kushi’s performance comes as authorities continue to address drug trafficking issues in the Jefferson County area. In November 2016, nine individuals were indicted on charges related to heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine trafficking, according to reports.
