Ashley Hollis Crowned Champion of ‘Big Brother‘ Season 27
LOS ANGELES, CA – Ashley Hollis has been declared the winner of Big Brother season 27, securing the $750,000 grand prize in a 6-1 vote against finalist Vince. The victory marks a stunning comeback for Hollis, who nearly faced eviction during the season’s first week but saved herself using the Power of Veto.
Hollis’ path to the final two involved a calculated move in the final Head of Household competition, where she ousted Morgan despite previously stating her intention to do so. Explaining her decision, Hollis told Morgan, “I don’t think I can beat you in a final two. I think it will be a toss-up with Vinny.”
During the final jury questioning, Hollis distinguished herself from Vince by emphasizing her social gameplay. When asked why she deserved to win, Hollis stated, “To me, a Big Brother winner is someone who turns their enemies into allies, not their allies into enemies, which the counterpart next to me did.”
The jury’s skepticism towards Vince’s sincerity was further highlighted when he responded to a question from morgan about his strongest game attribute, stating, “I think I was on good terms with almost everybody,” prompting Kelley to openly laugh.
Vince received $75,000 as the runner-up, while Keanu Soto was awarded $50,000 as America’s Favorite Houseguest. Hollis’ win is especially notable as she did not win another competition after securing her safety with the Veto in the first week, ultimately relying on strategic gameplay to reach the end.
