Big 12 Basketball Schedule: Colorado Games & Ticket Info

Big 12 ⁣Announces Colorado Men’s⁤ Basketball schedule

BOULDER⁣ – Teh Big ⁢12 Conference ⁣released⁤ the 2024-25 men’s basketball schedule for all 16‌ teams on Tuesday.

The conference ⁤schedule will consist ⁤of 18 ⁢games,a decrease of ⁣two from the ‌previous​ season. Teams will play home-and-home series against three opponents and⁢ face the remaining 12 teams ‌in single games ‍- six at home and six on the road. Opponent selections were​ made ​to optimize travel and competitive balance.

Colorado will⁢ have home-and-home matchups with Arizona ‍State, Utah, ⁤and Texas Tech, who reached the 2025 NCAA Elite Eight. The ‍Buffaloes will begin Big ‍12 play with the first⁤ game⁤ of ‌each of ⁣thes​ series within the first three conference contests.

Colorado opens its second season ‌in the Big 12 on the ‌road⁤ against ⁢Arizona State on Saturday, January 3. The Big 12 home opener ​is scheduled for Wednesday, January 7, against Utah. Texas Tech will‍ then​ visit‍ the CU⁢ Events Center for the first time as March ⁤2010 on Saturday, January 10.

The series with Arizona State is the only repeat pairing from Colorado’s⁢ 2023-24 Big 12 schedule. The Buffaloes ⁤will host the Sun Devils later in⁣ the​ season on ⁣Saturday, February ⁢7.

Seven of Colorado’s⁢ nine home opponents participated in postseason play in 2024-25. Single home games are scheduled against Arizona, Kansas, Kansas⁢ State, Oklahoma‌ State,⁤ TCU, and UCF.

The game against‌ Kansas is ⁤set for Tuesday, January 20, ‌near the midpoint of the Big 12 schedule. Arizona ⁣will visit for senior Day on‌ Saturday, March⁢ 7.

Oklahoma ‌State and ⁢Kansas State are slated to play at ⁤the CU ‍Events Center ⁤for the first time since the 2010-11 season in consecutive ‍games on Saturday, February 21,⁢ and ‍Wednesday, February 25, respectively.

Colorado will also play single road games at⁢ BYU,⁢ Baylor,⁢ NCAA runner-up Houston, Cincinnati, West Virginia,⁣ and Iowa ‌State. The buffaloes’ game at West Virginia on Saturday, January 17,‌ will mark the final current Big ⁢12 venue‍ Colorado has yet​ to visit, following a trip ‍to Cincinnati on Wednesday, January ⁢14 – ​their ⁢first visit as December 1981.

The regular season will conclude with a‍ road game at NCAA runner-up Houston on​ Saturday, February 28, marking the Buffs’ first trip to the UH campus since December​ 1994.

Game times and ⁣television broadcast data will be ‌announced⁤ at a later date.
