Betplay League Finalist too be Steadfast in Monday Showdown
Bogotá, Colombia - The Dimayor has confirmed the schedule for the final matchday of the Betplay League 2025-II semi-finals, a slate of games set to determine the second finalist alongside Deportes Tolima, who secured their spot from Group B. All eyes are on Group A, where Junior and Atlético Nacional remain in contention for a place in the championship decider.
Tolima’s dominant performance in Group B has already cemented their position in the final, rendering their match against Fortaleza largely ceremonial. However,the stakes are high in Group A,with Medellín and América already eliminated,leaving Junior and Nacional to battle for the remaining final berth. To ensure fairness, the matches between Medellín and Junior, and América and Nacional will be played together.
Junior currently leads Group A and controls their own destiny; a draw against Medellín at the atanasio Girardot stadium will guarantee their advancement. Even a loss won’t necessarily eliminate them, provided Atlético Nacional fails to win their match against América in Cali.
Atlético Nacional faces a more challenging path. They must win by a margin of more than one goal at the Pascual Guerrero stadium and rely on a Junior loss to Medellín to secure their place in the final.
