The restaurant offers a $145 prix fixe menu featuring three courses, complemented by an array of complimentary offerings such as breads, chutneys, and a unique rice and beans dish served wiht tamarind pods. Among the standout dishes highlighted by Eater Northeast Editor Nadia Chaudhuri is the pepper shrimp, described as plump and coated in a fiery spice blend, served chilled with pepper oil for a refreshing, chewy texture perfect for warmer weather. The duck sausage is also recommended as a must-try item.

For a more accessible option, the steak-for-one is priced at $43 and includes mashed potatoes, asparagus, and beef jus. The Dynamo Room is also noted for its happy hour deal, which features a $30 martini, Caesar salad, and fries, making it a convenient stop for those awaiting Amtrak departures from Penn Station.

Gulp, a Long Island City restaurant with a hidden bar, has recently launched its Taiwanese breakfast service, available daily until 11:30 a.m. According to editor-in-chief Stephanie Wu, the eatery experienced a wait on a recent Sunday, advising patrons to arrive early to avoid items selling out.The Taiwanese omelet, or egg crepe, priced at $7.50, is a notable dish featuring a thin dough layered with egg, pork floss, hash brown, and corn kernels. The packaged sandwiches, available with pork floss or tuna for $6.50, are also recommended as a convenient grab-and-go option that maintains its quality throughout the day.
