The company posted an infographic titled “Pixel Colors Through the Years” showcasing the evolution of hues since the original Pixel launched in 2016, prompting a wave of nostalgia among users and tech observers.

The initial Pixel and Pixel XL were available in “Quite Black,” “Really Blue,” and “Very Silver.” The “Really Blue” colorway, in particular, has emerged as a favorite among enthusiasts, lauded for its distinctive shade and textured finish. “This thing was the ultimate blue, partly because it just popped like no other blue had in a smartphone,” one observer noted.

Subsequent generations saw a broadening of color palettes. The Pixel 2 introduced “Kinda Blue,” while the Pixel 2 XL offered a striking “Black & White” option with an orange accent. The Pixel 4, released in 2019, featured a vibrant “Coral” that stood out for its bold orange hue and contrasting black frame.
