“Beauty in Black” Season 2 Set to Premiere on Netflix September 11,Will Be released in Two Parts
Fans of Tyler Perry’s hit Netflix series,”Beauty in Black,” will have their questions answered this fall. The show, Perry’s first for the streaming giant, has been renewed for a second season, confirmed by Perry himself last June, and will premiere on September 11. Like the first season, the continuation will be released in two parts.
“Beauty in Black” follows the intertwined lives of Kimmie, an exotic dancer striving for a better life, and Mallory Bellarie, the CEO of a major cosmetics company. The first season concluded with a cliffhanger - Kimmie’s marriage to Roy Bellarie, the family patriarch – leaving viewers eager for the next chapter. perry promises the upcoming season will be even more intense, stating to Tudum, “If you thought season 1 was a hell of an adventure, you are not ready for season 2!” He further emphasized Kimmie’s story as one about “never underestimating the outsiders.”
The series quickly gained popularity upon its initial release, becoming the fourth most-watched program on Netflix during its first week. season 2 will explore Kimmie’s integration into the Bellarie family and promises continued drama,twists,and turns.
