BC Rugby & TRAXX Partner to Enhance Club Travel Across British Columbia
BC Rugby is proud to announce a new partnership with TRAXX Coachlines, Western Canada’s leading coachline operator, offering BC Rugby Clubs and Members exclusive discounts on team coach travel across British Columbia and beyond.
This collaboration addresses a key challenge for BC’s geographically diverse rugby community – the financial and logistical hurdles of long-distance travel. As the Preferred Coachline Partner, TRAXX will provide exclusive discounted rates on services including travel to Club fixtures, tours, and BC Rugby events like the Kamloops 7s and Vancouver Sevens Invitational.
“Travel is an integral part of the rugby experience in British Columbia – from Club competitions to provincial tournaments,” says BC Rugby CEO, Matthew Carter. “Partnering with TRAXX not only supports our Members’ logistical needs but also connects them with a trusted, community-oriented partner. This collaboration will help our Clubs focus on what truly matters: building great rugby experiences.”
TRAXX Coachlines, founded in 1934, has built a strong reputation for safety, comfort, and reliability, serving sport teams, schools, and organizations across Western Canada.
“We’re thrilled to be moving forward with this partnership,” state TRAXX co-COO’s Lonie Bartel and Jason Bryant. “Making travel easier and more affordable is a game-changer for rugby in British Columbia. Our values align perfectly with BC Rugby, and together, we’re helping teams focus on building unforgettable experiences and increasing accessibility and participation across the province.”
