Eagles Fall 3-1 to Virginia Tech in Hard-Fought ACC Match
BLACKSBURG, VA – The Boston college Eagles dropped a 3-1 decision to the Virginia Tech Hokies in an ACC volleyball matchup on Wednesday night. Despite strong offensive performances from Audrey Ross and Danica Rach, the Eagles were unable to overcome a resilient Virginia Tech team.

The Eagles started strong in the second set with a 5-1 run, extending their led to 10-5 after another 5-1 run that forced a Virginia Tech timeout. BC continued to dominate,building a 20-9 advantage before closing out the set 25-14.

Audrey Ross led the Eagles with a season-high 22 kills and over 24 points. Danica Rach recorded a career-high 15 kills, adding 11 digs and over 17 points. Sophomore Lucy Mott posted a new career-high with 48 assists, while freshman Bella Ehrlich contributed 9 kills and 9 blocks, including one solo block, for 15 points. Senior Anna Herrington added 8 kills and 3 blocks, including one solo.
