Baxter Health Expands Cardiothoracic Surgery Programme with New Physician
Baxter Health is pleased to announce the addition of G. Phillip Schoettle, MD, to its cardiothoracic surgery team, joining Natalie Ostro, MD, adn F. Michael Bauer, MD, in providing advanced cardiac and thoracic care to the region. This expansion reinforces Baxter Health’s dedication to offering comprehensive, high-quality services to residents of north central Arkansas and south central Missouri.
Dr. Schoettle brings critically important experience to Baxter Health, having moast recently practiced at hospitals in Memphis, Tennessee, including St. Francis Hospital, methodist Healthcare, and Baptist Memorial Hospital.His medical journey began with a Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by his Doctor of Medicine from the University of tennessee Health Science Center in memphis.
Dr. Schoettle completed his medical training with an internal medicine internship at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, a general surgery residency at Ochsner Foundation Hospitals, and a specialized fellowship in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, also in Memphis.Throughout his training, he earned a reputation for providing skilled, patient-focused surgical care.
