Barbara Palvin Defends Postpartum Victoria’s Secret Return
Barbara Palvin has spoken out regarding the public response to her decision to walk in the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show just six weeks after giving birth to her first child. The 33-year-old Hungarian model, who welcomed her daughter, Sylvie, with husband Dylan Sprouse on September 7, addressed the criticism from those who suggested she returned to work too soon.
Palvin Says Postpartum Runway Return Reactions Were Divided
Speaking in an exclusive interview at the Sprouse House Halloween Party in Los Angeles on October 31, Palvin noted that the feedback she received was divided. Honestly, there were 50-50 with the reactions,
she told E! News. Some people loved that I was back, and some people were like, maybe I should be resting at home.
Palvin emphasized that her decision to return to the runway so quickly was a personal choice, noting, Everyone’s postpartum journey is different, and this is just mine.
While she admitted that the widespread commentary regarding her return to the runway left her feeling overwhelmed,
she credited her support system for enabling her to participate in the event.
Support Systems and Advice for New Mothers
The model expressed gratitude for the assistance she received from her family during this period. I’m lucky that I have the support from my husband and my family, and they were able to get me there,
she stated. Reflecting on her experience as a new mother, Palvin offered a piece of advice for others navigating the postpartum period: Yardım istemekten korkmayın,
which translates to, Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
