Deadly Explosion Rocks Balochistan Market, Claiming Lives and Injuring Many
QILA ABDULLAH, Balochistan – A devastating explosion tore through a bustling market in Balochistan’s Qila Abdullah district on Sunday evening, leaving a trail of death and destruction. Officials confirmed that two people were killed and at least 11 others sustained injuries in the blast.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Riyaz Khan of Qila Abdullah provided initial details, stating, Two people were killed while 11 were injured in the explosion.
The incident prompted an immediate response from local authorities, who swiftly launched an investigation to determine the cause and identify those responsible.
Investigation Underway
According to preliminary findings, the explosives were strategically planted within a vehicle. DC Khan elaborated on the investigative steps taken: According to the initial investigation, the explosives were planted in a vehicle.
He further added that the bomb disposal squad and law enforcement officials were immediately summoned to the scene to meticulously examine the area and gather crucial evidence.The investigation is currently ongoing.

Qila Abdullah Levies Risaldar Gulab Khan provided additional details about the location and immediate aftermath of the blast. The blast took place near the Abdul jabbar Market in the Gulistan area of qila Abdullah district, resulting in the death of two people and injuries to 11 others.
He further noted the swift response of rescue personnel: After the explosion, Levies personnel and people present at the scene immediately rescued the injured, who were then moved to the District Health Headquarters Chaman for treatment.
