Bajaj Financial Securities Acquires Stake in Customer Data Platform Lemnisk
MUMBAI: Bajaj Financial Securities has invested in customer data platform (CDP) Lemnisk through a secondary transaction, providing partial exits to early investors including growX Ventures. Teh financial terms of the deal where not disclosed.
Lemnisk, founded by Praveen DS, Rinku Ghosh, and Subra Krishnan, develops a composable CDP utilized by financial institutions, insurers, and other regulated entities to unify customer data and enable personalized engagement. The platform supports deployment on-premise, in private clouds, and public cloud environments.
“growX backed Lemnian when the enterprise CDP space was still at a nascent stage. Their early belief, thoughtful guidance, and continued support have been invaluable to our journey,” said Subra Krishnan, co-founder and CEO of Lemnisk.
Secondary transactions like this allow existing shareholders to sell ownership to new investors without injecting additional capital into the company. The investment comes as demand increases for real-time customer data platforms and AI-powered personalization tools within Indian enterprises.
growX Ventures Founding Partner Sheetal Bahl stated, “Lemnisk has built enterprise infrastructure at a time when secure customer data platforms are becoming foundational to AI adoption. This transaction validates real value creation.” Bahl confirmed growX Ventures remains invested in lemnisk and believes in its future potential.
Lemnisk has previously secured funding from Bharti Airtel and growX Ventures, and maintains offices in Dubai, Singapore, and Boston, serving clients in banking, insurance, and financial services. Investors continue to hold stakes in the company following the transaction.
