Bad Bunny Wedding: Couple Marries During Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show 2026

February 10, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

A wedding ceremony unfolded on the field at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, during the halftime show of Super Bowl LX on Sunday, February 8, 2026, as Eleisa “Elli” Aparicio and Thomas “Tommy” Wolter exchanged vows amidst the spectacle of Bad Bunny’s performance. The globally televised nuptials, witnessed by an estimated 135 million viewers, transformed the Super Bowl intermission into a personal celebration for the Southern California couple.

Aparicio, a Covina High School alumna and Wolter, 32, had been dating for just over two years, celebrating their first anniversary as a couple on February 23, 2024. Wolter commemorated the occasion with a social media post expressing his joy, stating that the year had been “the best of my life without a doubt.” Their relationship progressed to an engagement in October 2024, during a trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon, with Aparicio sharing her enthusiastic acceptance online.

The couple’s unconventional path to the altar began when Bad Bunny, after receiving an invitation to their wedding, extended an invitation of his own: to be married during his Super Bowl halftime show. The performance, a 13-minute tribute to Puerto Rico, provided the backdrop for a brief but authentic ceremony. Approximately five minutes into the set, an officiant pronounced Aparicio and Wolter husband and wife in a specially constructed plaza on the field.

The moment included a kiss shared by the newlyweds, surrounded by dancers and musicians. Following the vows, Lady Gaga took the stage with Los Sobrinos, a Puerto Rican salsa band known for its collaborations with Bad Bunny, performing “Die With a Smile” as Bad Bunny launched into his hit song “Baile Inolvidable.” A representative for Bad Bunny confirmed the legitimacy of the wedding, stating that the artist served as an official witness and signed the marriage certificate, and that a real wedding cake was present.

Wolter, a registered nurse who earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton, in March 2021, shared his gratitude on social media, calling the experience “an unforgettable dance with the love of my life” and thanking Bad Bunny for the “beautiful opportunity of a lifetime.” Aparicio echoed his sentiments, expressing that her heart was “so full” and describing the experience as “nothing short of amazing.”

Aparicio later posted a clip of the ceremony to social media, where it was viewed by millions. As of Tuesday, February 10, 2026, neither the NFL nor representatives for the couple have commented on any future plans related to the unique wedding ceremony.
