Florida Father Suspected of Gross Negligence in SonS Heatstroke Death
ORMOND BEACH, FLORIDA – A 33-year-old Florida man, scott Gardner, is under investigation for gross negligence after his 18-month-old son, Sebastian, died of heatstroke while waiting alone in a car. The incident occurred in Ormond Beach, Florida, where temperatures reached 33 degrees Celsius.Gardner reportedly spent the afternoon at a hairdresser and then continued to a bar, Hanky Panky’s Lounge, for drinks while his young son remained unattended in the vehicle. Upon his return, the child was found deceased.
Authorities are treating the case as a suspected case of gross negligence resulting in death. The investigation is ongoing.
