Azuki Rebrands as Omoi, Signaling Expansion of Manga Catalog
Vancouver, BC – Digital manga publisher Azuki announced today it is rebranding as Omoi, effective instantly. The change encompasses a new name, domain (omoi.com),logo,color scheme,and overall brand identity rolling out across all platforms. The Omoi apps, available on Android and iOS as “Omoi: Manga Reader,” reflect the updated branding.
The rebrand comes as Omoi prepares for important catalog expansion in 2026 and aims to resolve confusion caused by the previous name’s use by unrelated companies. “The name represents a new phase for us, as we greatly expand our catalog in 2026,” explained Co-Founder and licensing/Marketing Director Evan Minto. ”It also reduces the brand confusion around our old name, which was in use by multiple companies in other industries.”
Omoi currently serializes new chapters of titles including My Dear Detective: Mitsuko’s Case Files, Natsume & Natsume, and You’re So Sloppy, Hotta-sensei, alongside hundreds of other series available through its apps.The company also publishes print editions of its manga through partnerships with Scholastic’s Graphix and Penguin Random House’s Ink Pop, with recent releases including Hikaru in the Light and Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms, and upcoming titles Crescent Moon Marching and Our Aimless Nights. The company, founded four years ago, has focused on building a dedicated team and delivering quality manga releases and app experiences.
