How the Dire Wolf Fueled Colossal’s Leap to Global Leadership in De-Extinction

by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor September 11, 2025
written by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor

On April 7, 2025, Colossal Biosciences stunned the world with a historic announcement: the birth of three dire wolf pups—Romulus, Remus, and Khaleesi. For the first time in history, a species lost for more than 12,000 years had been brought back to life. The feat wasn’t just a scientific milestone; it was a cultural moment, covered by TIME, The New York Times, and outlets across the globe as “the day extinction lost its permanence.”

But for Colossal, the dire wolf achievement was never just about resurrecting a single Ice Age predator. It was about proving an end-to-end technology platform for de-extinction—integrating ancient DNA reconstruction, multiplex CRISPR editing, and advanced reproductive techniques. That platform is now the foundation of Colossal’s next chapter: global expansion, guided by the appointment of Australian scientist Professor Andrew Pask as its new Chief Biology Officer (CBO) and the launch of Colossal Australia at the University of Melbourne.

The Dire Wolf as Proof of Possibility

Dire wolves (Aenocyon dirus) went extinct at the end of the Pleistocene epoch, leaving behind only scattered fossil evidence and fragmented DNA. Unlike woolly mammoths, no frozen specimens preserved tissue for cloning. Yet Colossal scientists successfully reconstructed the dire wolf genome by comparing samples from a 13,000-year-old tooth and a 73,000-year-old skull, identifying which genetic traits were consistently fixed across populations.

From there, they used CRISPR to edit gray wolf cells with 20 dire wolf–specific changes across 14 genes—a record for vertebrate editing. The modified nuclei were transferred into dog egg cells through somatic cell nuclear transfer, and domestic dogs carried the embryos to term. The result was three healthy pups, living symbols of an extinct lineage restored.

Dr. George Church, Colossal co-founder, called it “an unprecedented feat in precision genetic engineering.” For Colossal, it was validation that the company’s “technology stack” worked from start to finish—and could now be applied to other species.

From Wolves to a Worldwide Platform

The dire wolf project immediately impacted conservation. Non-invasive cloning techniques refined in the program were applied to the ghost wolf (Canis rufus), the most endangered North American canid. Four ghost wolf pups, cloned from three distinct cell lines, represented a 25% boost in genetic diversity for the species—a tangible, immediate conservation benefit derived directly from de-extinction research.

This crossover between revival and conservation is central to Colossal’s philosophy. Every step forward in dire wolf research created tools now being deployed to help living species: EPC (Embryonic Progenitor Cell) blood cloning for biobanking, multiplex editing for disease resistance, and high-precision genomic reconstruction for boosting small populations.

The dire wolf wasn’t the finish line. It was the starting point for scaling biotechnology across species and ecosystems.

Enter Andrew Pask: Expanding the Vision

Colossal’s next move reflects its ambition to make de-extinction a global science. In August 2025, the company appointed Professor Andrew Pask as its Chief Biology Officer. Pask, based at the University of Melbourne, is a developmental biologist renowned for his work on the thylacine (Thylacinus cynocephalus), or Tasmanian tiger, a marsupial carnivore extinct since 1936.

Through his TIGGR (Thylacine Integrated Genetic Restoration Research) lab, Pask developed one of the most complete genome reconstructions of the thylacine and pioneered marsupial reproductive technologies. He has long been a scientific advisor to Colossal’s thylacine project. Now, as CBO, he will oversee the company’s entire developmental biology portfolio—including mammals, marsupials, and birds.

“Andrew’s leadership ensures that the precision and rigor that brought back the dire wolf will guide all of Colossal’s projects,” said CEO Ben Lamm. “He’s not just helping us revive the thylacine; he’s helping us build a global framework for biodiversity restoration.”

Colossal Australia: A New Hub for Restoration Science

Pask’s appointment coincides with the launch of Colossal Australia, the company’s first international hub. Anchored at the University of Melbourne, Colossal Australia will lead marsupial and avian projects while collaborating with Indigenous and local communities.

Key initiatives include:

  • The Thylacine Project – Expanding genome editing and marsupial reproductive technologies to bring back Australia’s lost apex predator.

  • The Moa Project – Sequencing and reconstructing all nine extinct moa species, in partnership with Māori-led research in New Zealand.

  • The Dodo Project – Applying avian genome-editing methods to restore traits of the dodo (Raphus cucullatus), extinct since the 1600s.

  • Artificial Wombs & Embryology – Developing systems to support marsupial and avian embryo development, inspired by lessons from dire wolf surrogacy.

This expansion positions Colossal not as an American company with global reach, but as a multinational research platform, where expertise and cultural knowledge inform species restoration in the regions most directly affected.

How Dire Wolves Shaped the Standard

The dire wolf project did more than produce three pups. It established the benchmarks that every subsequent project must now meet:

  • Precision: 20 genomic edits across 14 genes, each validated through sequencing and bioinformatic analysis.

  • Reproducibility: No miscarriages or stillbirths were reported, demonstrating safe, repeatable protocols.

  • Conservation Relevance: Tools developed for dire wolves were quickly applied to ghost wolves, proving crossover utility.

  • Cultural Resonance: Dire wolves captured public imagination worldwide, fueling support for de-extinction as both science and storytelling.

These standards are the blueprint Andrew Pask inherits as CBO. His task is to adapt them to species with different biology—marsupials with pouches, birds with eggs, megafauna with massive genomes—without losing the precision demonstrated by dire wolves.

Ethical and Open-Science Commitments

As with the dire wolf, Colossal stresses transparency and collaboration. Genomic data, editing protocols, and animal care guidelines are shared in open-access databases, encouraging global participation in de-extinction science.

The company also maintains oversight through independent animal welfare committees and adheres to International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) guidelines for genetic interventions. For Pask, whose work has always integrated ethical considerations and public engagement, this model is essential to scaling responsibly.

Cultural Impact: The Howl Heard Around the World

Beyond science, the dire wolf breakthrough resonated deeply with the public. Filmmaker Peter Jackson, an investor in Colossal, described hearing the wolves howl for the first time in 12,000 years as “a moment of pure wonder.” George R.R. Martin, author of Game of Thrones, called it “magic made real.”

Such cultural moments are more than anecdotes. They generate funding, public interest, and political momentum for conservation science. With Pask at the helm, Colossal Australia will carry this cultural energy into projects like the thylacine—an animal with deep cultural resonance in Australia—and the moa, whose revival is tied to Māori ecological heritage.

From Dire Wolves to a Global Movement

The dire wolf pups of April 2025 will forever symbolize the dawn of de-extinction biology. But Colossal’s announcement of Andrew Pask as Chief Biology Officer and the creation of Colossal Australia show that this was only the beginning.

The dire wolf established the technological baseline. Now, Pask and his team will apply that blueprint to marsupials, birds, and other lost species, while ensuring that every discovery fuels immediate conservation applications. From ghost wolves in North America to thylacines in Tasmania, moa in New Zealand, and dodos in Mauritius, Colossal is turning a single historic achievement into a global program for biodiversity restoration.

As Dr. Christopher Mason of Weill Cornell Medicine observed: “The same technologies that created the dire wolf can directly help save a variety of endangered animals. This is an extraordinary technological leap for both science and conservation.”

The howls of Romulus, Remus, and Khaleesi were not just echoes of the past. They were signals of the future—a future where extinction is not permanent, and where human ingenuity may help repair the damage of the Anthropocene.

Betting on Convenience: How Mobile Apps Reflect a Global Shift

by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor September 10, 2025
written by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor

The modern world runs on convenience. From your grocery orders to your Friday night entertainment, everything is just a tap away. Betting apps are no different. They’ve become part of a worldwide trend where speed, access and control define how we engage with daily life.

Betting on Convenience: How Mobile Apps Reflect a Global Shift

A World Moving at the Tap of a Finger

Think about your day. You might order coffee through an app, check the traffic in real time, or pay bills while waiting in line. It’s almost second nature now. Convenience isn’t just a luxury anymore. Nowdays, it’s become the expectation. We’re living in an age where anything that isn’t instant feels outdated. And it’s not just shopping or travel. Even entertainment and sports are caught in this shift too.

The Rise of Convenience Culture

Only a generation ago, people planned their entertainment carefully, making a trip to the cinema, driving out to a stadium, or setting aside time to queue at the bank. Today, the majority of that has migrated to your phone. A couple of taps, and your life is scheduled, paid for and delivered. Boom.

The benefits are obvious: you save time, you gain access to more choices than ever before and life feels more customizable. But convenience has its shadows too. It breeds impatience. It can chip away at the satisfaction of slower experiences, like browsing a bookstore or taking the long way home. That tension (between instant gratification and old-fashioned patience) is one of the defining dynamics of our time.

Betting Apps: The Digital Evolution of Sports Fandom

In entertainment, the clearest sign of this cultural shift is betting. Not long ago, if you wanted to place a bet, you’d go to a physical bookmaker or a casino. Today, the entire experience has been streamlined into your pocket. The betway app download is a perfect example. What once required planning or travel now happens in seconds, with a clean interface and live updates that put you right in the action.

This isn’t just about making a bet. It’s about integrating with the way sports are experienced now. Fans aren’t just watching a game… they’re interacting with it, tracking odds, following stats and feeling part of something immediate. Apps don’t disrupt sports culture; they deepen it, syncing with the always-on lifestyle people already live.

Why Fans Embrace the Shift

It’s not surprising that betting apps have found such a dedicated audience. Imagine watching a tight baseball game or a Premier League clash and being able to react instantly. That adrenaline of the moment (the swing of a bat, the last-minute goal, etc) pairs naturally with an app that lets you act in real time, such as betway app download.

It’s about control, too. You decide when and where to engage. On the train, during halftime, or while chatting with friends. The thing is, you’re not tied to a counter or a single location. Anything is possible in the digital realm. That level of flexibility matches exactly what convenience culture promises: freedom on your own terms.

A Global Pattern

Zoom out, and the story becomes even bigger. Thats right. Betting apps aren’t an isolated phenomenon. They’re part of a worldwide embrace of mobile-first living. From Africa to Europe to the United States, entire industries are being redesigned to fit in the palm of your hand.

And here’s the thing… these apps don’t just reflect consumer demand; they shape it. Once people get used to betting from anywhere, going back to a slower, more restricted system feels almost unthinkable. In that way, betting apps are a microcosm of global convenience culture, showing how quickly we adapt when technology makes something simpler.

Living With Convenience

Of course, convenience culture as a whole is double-edged. The gains in efficiency can be offset by a creeping sense of restlessness. Meaning, we’re always waiting for the next update, the next delivery, the next buzz from our phones. But when you focus specifically on betting apps, the picture looks different. They enhance the experience, making sports more interactive, accessible and immediate without diminishing the thrill.

In many ways, betting apps embody the best of convenience culture. They take a pastime people already love and make it easier, faster and more engaging. They don’t replace the core experience; they extend it.

The Future in Your Pocket

The world isn’t slowing down. If anything, convenience will continue to accelerate. And while that raises questions for some areas of life, it’s clear that in sports betting, the app-driven future is already here. Platforms like betway app download illustrate how entertainment adapts to match the pulse of the modern world. So fast, mobile and always ready.

Convenience culture isn’t a passing phase. It’s a defining characteristic of our time. Whether you’re streaming music, ordering dinner, or betting on a match, you’re part of a global shift toward instant access. The only real question left is how much further it will go… and how much more of life will be lived with a single tap. Exciting times ahead.

Behavioral Analytics in Online Casinos: Tools Redefining Player Insight

by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor August 14, 2025
written by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor

In recent years, the use of analytics in regulated online casinos has become more refined. Player data is now processed using automated systems that help operators balance engagement, compliance, and personalization. These tools do not simply collect usage statistics—they provide structured insights into behavior patterns. In the Czech Republic, all licensed operators are required to meet national standards outlined in Act No. 186/2016 Coll., which guide the handling of personal data, responsible gaming limits, and financial transparency. Platforms such as Fortuna Casino Cz apply behavioral analysis tools specifically designed to stay within these regulatory boundaries while improving user experience and operational oversight.

From session tracking to preference mapping

Modern systems categorize player behavior into structured segments based on real-time data. These segments may include session length, preferred game category, average wager size, and feature interaction frequency. Fortuna Casino Cz uses dashboard-level indicators that adapt based on this analysis. If a user frequently engages with table games, for instance, their interface will prioritize access to blackjack or roulette titles, omitting unrelated content.

Such systems improve platform navigation and reduce cognitive friction. However, they remain bound by legal obligations to prevent the use of this data for persuasive targeting or unrequested bonus distribution. All adaptations are interface-driven and remain under user control.

Data Input TypeBehavior Signal ExampleUsed in Fortuna Casino Cz
Game Category FrequencySlot vs. table distributionYes
Wagering SpeedClick interval monitoringYes
Feature UsageBonus tools or help tab accessYes

These inputs help operators create non-intrusive, responsive layouts without compromising user autonomy.

Predictive modeling and responsible gaming

One core application of activity tracking is identifying signs of risky behavior. Automated systems can detect increased deposit frequency, rapid switching between high-volatility games, or missed break notifications. When these patterns emerge, Fortuna Casino Cz triggers soft interventions such as pop-up reminders or session cooldown options.

These tools function in line with Czech responsible gaming regulations. They do not automatically restrict access but prompt the user to evaluate their activity and consider using built-in limit settings.

  • Break notification prompts, appearing after preset time thresholds;
  • Deposit limit reminders, if users approach self-defined caps;
  • Gaming pattern reports, accessible through account profiles.

This approach ensures risk management occurs in real time without breaching data protection norms.

Bonus optimization and opt-in logic

While historical bonus systems were generalized, current analytics tools allow more context-specific suggestions. Fortuna Casino Cz applies opt-in-only logic, meaning bonus recommendations based on behavior never appear automatically. Instead, they are displayed as suggestions within the user’s account area—clearly labeled and subject to manual confirmation.

Bonus interaction history is stored within the player’s dashboard, including wager progress, expiry status, and remaining conversion requirements. This structure reduces confusion and limits unintentional rule violations.

Wagering MultiplierNumeric display with tooltipYes

These components help players make informed decisions while keeping all bonus data accessible and clearly defined.

Closing Overview

Advanced behavioral analytics tools now play an integral role in licensed online casinos. Fortuna Casino Cz demonstrates how Czech-facing platforms can use player activity data to improve navigation, personalize interface elements, and support responsible usage—all while maintaining regulatory and privacy standards.

Possibilities of Modern Manufacturing: Coextrusion

by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor August 14, 2025
written by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor

In both the plastics and food industries, the demand for materials and products that combine strength, functionality, and efficiency has grown steadily over the past few decades. One process that has helped meet this demand is coextrusion, a technique that enables the combination of different materials into a single, layered product during manufacturing. Though not a new technology, coextrusion continues to evolve and unlock new opportunities for innovation.

What Is Coextrusion?

Coextrusion is the process of pushing two or more molten materials through a single mould to form one unified product with multiple layers. Each material is fed by its own extruder and enters the mould through separate channels arranged to merge seamlessly. The result is a laminar structure: several layers fused together before cooling, each contributing its own specific properties.

Unlike conventional extrusion, which uses one extruder and one material, the coextrusion process gives manufacturers the ability to combine several materials in a single operation. That means improved functionality without the need for additional production steps.

Where Coextrusion Is Used

Coextrusion is commonly used in the production of multilayer films, packaging materials, and technical profiles. These are applications where one layer might need to offer strength, another a barrier against moisture, and another heat-sealability. The ability to combine those characteristics into one process (and one finished product) is a huge advantage.

In food production, coextrusion is used to manufacture snacks and cereals, particularly those with soft centres or layered textures. In these cases, two extruders are used: one to form the outer shell, typically expanded cereal, and the other to inject a filling, such as chocolate or cream. These products are lightweight, crunchy, and often sweet, and their production relies heavily on precise control over moisture and temperature.

Why Coextrusion Matters

One of the key strengths of coextrusion is its efficiency. It allows for multi-layer products to be produced in a single step, reducing time and energy costs. There’s no need for secondary bonding or lamination stages, which simplifies manufacturing and cuts down on waste.

The flexibility of coextrusion also makes it ideal for complex designs. Manufacturers can adjust the number of layers, the thickness of each, and the combination of materials based on the final product’s requirements. This is especially useful for packaging, where durability, visual appeal, and functionality all matter.

In some applications, recycled or regrind material can be used as the core layer, with virgin material on the outer surfaces. This makes the coextrusion process both cost-effective and more sustainable, particularly for items like fencing, decking, and handrails.

Important Considerations

That said, coextrusion isn’t suitable for all plastic combinations. Some polymers don’t bond well, and others have vastly different melting points that can cause degradation during processing. Incompatibility between certain plastics, such as PVC and acetals, can even be hazardous if combined. These challenges highlight the importance of understanding material behaviour and system design.

Conclusion

Coextrusion has opened the door to a wide range of high-performance, cost-effective, and sustainable manufacturing solutions. Its ability to blend distinct materials into a single, well-functioning product continues to reshape what’s possible in manufacturing.

Might England Be Heading Towards Civil War?

by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor August 13, 2025
written by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor

England, a country steeped in history and tradition, is currently facing challenges that have raised the question: Is London safe? Recent tensions in society suggest that the political climate is more volatile than ever before. From the increasing strain on public services to growing dissatisfaction with how justice is dispensed, many are questioning whether England is on the verge of a civil conflict. Let’s explore the current state of affairs and the factors that may be contributing to these growing tensions.

The Rising Frustration Among the British Public

At the heart of these concerns is a growing sense of frustration amongst ordinary citizens. As Britain grapples with issues such as illegal immigration and a shift in societal norms, many feel that their voices are being ignored by the government. This frustration is particularly pronounced in London, where the strain on resources, housing, and infrastructure is palpable.

As an increasing number of immigrants from various regions make their way to the UK, particularly from war-torn nations, many Britons are feeling the pressure on their daily lives. The debate around immigration has intensified, with some accusing the government of being too lenient on border control, while others argue for more compassion towards those seeking refuge.

However, beyond the issue of immigration lies a more divisive force: the issue of justice. Many feel that the legal system is increasingly two-tier, favouring certain groups over others. Some claim that pro-Palestinian activism, for example, is being allowed to influence public discourse and policy in a way that undermines British values. This perceived imbalance in how justice is applied has left many wondering whether the law really works for everyone equally.

For the ordinary taxpayer, this situation has become unbearable. They feel that their hard-earned money is being spent on services that benefit only a select few, while they bear the brunt of the consequences. This sense of injustice has sparked heated debates across the country and led to calls for greater accountability from the government.

<The Role of Policing and Public Trust

One of the most contentious issues at the moment is the role of policing in Britain. As Is London safe? becomes a question on many people’s minds, there is increasing concern that the police are not doing enough to protect citizens. The rise in gang-related violence, street crime, and anti-social behaviour has made some communities feel unsafe. Meanwhile, critics argue that policing priorities are being skewed towards political correctness rather than tackling real crime.

Many argue that the police are failing to act decisively on issues that matter most to the public, such as rising crime rates, while giving excessive attention to minority causes or politically sensitive issues. This perceived imbalance has caused a breakdown in trust between the public and the police, leading some to question whether law enforcement is truly serving the needs of all citizens.

Seized knives in England. Knife crimes are up a staggering percentage.

In cities like London, the pressure on the police force is immense. As London struggles with rising crime and a constant influx of people, the police have found it increasingly difficult to maintain order. This has led to feelings of insecurity among the public, with many asking if the government is doing enough to tackle the underlying causes of crime, such as poverty and disenfranchisement.

The Proliferation of Hate Speech and Its Consequences

Another factor contributing to the growing sense of unrest in England is the proliferation of hate speech. With the rise of social media, people now have a platform to voice their opinions, but not all opinions are constructive. In fact, the spread of inflammatory rhetoric has become a major issue in the UK, with individuals and groups using social media to incite hatred against various communities.

For instance, pro-Palestinian groups have been accused of stoking anti-Semitic sentiment, while certain far-right factions are promoting xenophobic and racist views against immigrants from Arab nations. These competing narratives have contributed to an atmosphere of hostility, with tensions bubbling over into violent clashes and protests. Many fear that this climate of hate speech is fuelling divisions within British society and exacerbating the risk of civil unrest.

At the same time, government efforts to curb hate speech have been met with resistance. Some argue that the laws surrounding free speech are being manipulated to silence dissenting voices, particularly those critical of the government’s policies on immigration or international affairs. This has only added to the sense of alienation felt by many citizens, who feel that their views are being suppressed in favour of a more politically correct narrative.

Two-Tier Justice: A Growing Divide

Perhaps the most troubling issue facing England today is the perceived existence of two-tier justice. Critics argue that the legal system is increasingly favouring certain groups while leaving others to fend for themselves. The sense that some communities are above the law has created a sense of injustice among the public, leading to growing anger and resentment.

For example, the handling of protests and civil disobedience has been a focal point of this debate. Some feel that protesters from certain political movements are given free rein to disrupt public order, while others are arrested and prosecuted for similar acts of civil disobedience. This perceived bias in the legal system has led many to ask: Is the justice system truly fair for everyone, or is it tailored to suit specific interests?

Moreover, the perception of two-tier justice extends to the treatment of immigrants and minorities in the UK. While some feel that the law is too lenient on those who break the rules, others believe that the law unfairly targets certain groups, particularly those from ethnic minority backgrounds. This growing divide has sparked fierce debate, with some calling for a more balanced approach to justice, while others argue for stricter enforcement of the law.

The Path Ahead for England

As tensions continue to rise, it remains to be seen whether England will find a way to address these issues without descending into civil unrest. The question of Is London safe? is one that resonates with many Britons, as they worry about the safety of their communities and the future of their country.

Ultimately, the resolution of these issues will require a concerted effort from both the government and the public. It is clear that there is a need for a more balanced approach to immigration, justice, policing, and hate speech—one that ensures the rights and safety of all citizens, regardless of background or political affiliation.

If England is to avoid a civil war or widespread unrest, it is crucial that the government listens to the concerns of its citizens and takes action to address the root causes of division. Only then can the country move towards a more unified future.

Look & Feel Empowered With The Brand New Collection Of Power Pearls

by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor July 30, 2025
written by Marcus Davenport Managing Editor

Kamala Harris created history when she swore in as America’s first black female and South Asian Vice President. As the entire world took notice of this glamorous and powerful woman with a steely persona, we couldn’t help but fall in love with her charismatic style statement which comprised elegant pearl accessories. Since the announcement of being Joe Biden’s running mate during August 2020, Kamala Harris could hardly ever be seen without her trademark pearls.

She sported a strand of white pearls along with matching drop earrings during her 1986 graduation photo. The US Vice President has remained loyal to his timeless trend throughout her career. Whether she was surveying wildfire damage in California or attending televised debates, Kamala was always seen with her million-dollar smile and trusty pearls. Her female supporters vouched in favor of this strong association by pledging to wear pearls on 20th January 2021 as a symbol of sisterhood when Kamala Harris was sworn in as the Vice President of United States. Several ladies bought pearls only to mark this occasion and Facebook groups were created for garnering more support towards the cause.

First Lady Jill Biden’s dress had a pearl and crystal-embellished collar while Jennifer Lopez who performed at the opening ceremony accessorized her white Chanel outfit with a multi-strand pearl bracelet, oversized pearl earrings and a pearl-studded belt. Harris chose a pearl necklace for the inauguration ceremony which was laden with symbolism. This beautiful necklace was designed by NY based Puerto Rican designer Wilfredo Rosado who tried to combine power and femininity in the form of contemporary fine jewelry.

Pearls have for long been associated with purity, integrity and wisdom which is the reason behind its popularity amongst brides. You can rarely see The Queen without her staple three-strand pearl necklace which has led to the inclusion of pearls in most conservative jewelry boxes around the globe. But modern designers like Wilfredo Rosado have imparted a swanky new makeover to pearls which have found its way into the jewelry arsenal of all millennial fashionistas. Kamala Harris has been a pearl afficionado since decades as she is a proud owner of an enviable collection of pearls ranging from classic single-strand necklaces to contemporary ones combining pearls with multi-hued stones.

Harris simply adores the versatility of her favorite gem and that’s why she wore oversized pearl studs with a milky luster while delivering her victory speech in Delaware in November. While the votes were still being counted, she appeared next to Joe Biden in a black suit along with a strand of grey Tahitian pearls and matching earrings. Back at August 2020 while accepting the nomination as Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris caught the eye of fashion mongers with a beautiful pearl necklace by Californian designer Irene Neuwirth.

The Pearl Source has evolved into a prominent pearl retailer and distributor in the United States over the online platform. It has recently introduced the Power Pearls collection which pays homage to powerful women like Kamala Harries who serve as an inspiration to millions. The first collection of Power Pearls which has been made available to the general public throughout the month of March honors the US Vice President. This collection will be followed by future jewelry lines which will pay tribute to other iconic ladies who have empowered women culturally, economically, politically and socially. A portion of the sale proceeds shall be donated to Dress for Success, which is a global not-for-profit organization associated with offering economic independence to women through a network of professional attire, support and other development tools so that they can sustain themselves in various fields of work and life.

The announcement of collection launch was made on 7th March which was incidentally just one day prior to the International Women’s Day and also marked the start of the Women’s History Month. #ChooseToChallenge is 2021’s inspiration for International Women’s Day which is based on the belief that you can alert those around you only by challenging the age-old norms and that is how you can ring in the winds of change. Apart from generating funding for supporting various issues of women, the Power Pearls collection also wishes to draw attention to the improper treatment of businesswomen, female athletes and even celebrities who are not given similar credit as that of men.
