Author Says Search Is Key to Finding WWE on YouTube TV

In an article published in the Wrestling section of Athlon Sports, an author argues that search is the key to finding WWE events on the YouTube TV app for subscribers who hold an ESPN Unlimited subscription.

Locating Content Within the Live Guide

The author explains that ESPN Unlimited is integrated directly into YouTube TV rather than presented as a separate app. To find content, users can go to the Live tab in YouTube TV and scroll down to the normal group of ESPN channels. Additional ESPN Unlimited live streams are mixed in with familiar ESPN networks, functioning like extra live channels where currently airing programming can be selected directly from the guide. Users can also continue scrolling through the ESPN section to find an option to view more ESPN Unlimited content, which opens a dedicated page to browse live and upcoming programming, series, movies, and other available content.

Searching for WWE Premium Live Events

According to the piece, finding WWE content may not be as obvious as expected. The author notes that about three hours before WWE Money in the Bank, the event could not be found by scrolling through the YouTube TV Live guide, even though the plan included ESPN Unlimited. Searching Money in the Bank solved the problem immediately, as the event appeared in YouTube TV’s search results with a red LIVE label. For subscribers with ESPN Unlimited included in their plan, the author points out that viewers do not need to leave YouTube TV to watch WWE PLEs.
