Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team Announces mathilda Paatz for 2026 F1 ACADEMY & Driver Academy
silverstone,UK – November 29,2025 – Aston Martin Aramco today announced Mathilda Paatz as its representative for the 2026 F1 ACADEMY,alongside her inclusion in the team’s Driver Academy program. The 16-year-old German driver will join the initiative designed to identify,train,and support young female talent in motorsport,paving a pathway towards Formula 1.
This selection marks a important step in Aston martin’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within the sport. The F1 ACADEMY, launched in 2024, aims to increase female portrayal in Formula 1, a field historically dominated by male drivers.Paatz’s participation provides her with access to complete training, coaching, and competitive opportunities, all supported by the resources of a leading Formula 1 team.Her advancement will be closely monitored as she progresses through the Driver Academy, with potential opportunities to test Formula 1 machinery in the future.
