asterix Heads to Nubia in New Animated Feature Film, Set for December 2026 Release
Paris – Fans of the beloved Gaulish warriors are in for a treat as a new Asterix animated film, Asterix adn the Kingdom of Nubia, is slated to hit theaters on December 2, 2026. The film marks the latest adaptation of the iconic comic book series created by rené Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, and promises an unprecedented adventure taking Asterix and Obelix to the exotic landscapes of ancient Nubia.
This project represents a continuation of the film adaptations that began in the 1960s, and is based on an original story – not directly adapted from existing Asterix albums. directed by Alexandre Heboyan,known for his animation work,the screenplay is a collaboration between Alexandre de la Patellier and Mathieu Delaporte.
