ASRock Industrial: New Compact AI Edge System Released
ASRock Industrial has launched the AI BOX-A395, a compact workstation designed for edge artificial intelligence applications. The system, measuring 200 x 100 x 232mm, is built around the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and supports up to 128GB of LPDDR5X memory.
The AI BOX-A395 is intended for a range of tasks including local AI inference, model development, engineering, 3D design, and media processing, according to ASRock Industrial. The system’s design emphasizes high compute density and efficient performance in a compact form factor.
ASRock Industrial positions the AI BOX-A395 as part of its Edge AI Platform, which integrates NVIDIA Jetson System-on-Module (SOM) solutions. This platform aims to deliver scalable, power-efficient AI computing for industrial uses. The AI BOX-A395 supports both Windows and Linux operating systems, offering flexibility for developers and users.
The system utilizes the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, which is designed to accelerate AI workloads. The inclusion of 128GB of LPDDR5X memory allows for handling large datasets and complex models.
