In Morra de Sanctis (AV) a conference on new care for arthrosis, with the support of Docpharma
The medical-scientist congress entitled “Arthosi: from diagnosis to conservative treatment“, promoted with the unconditional contribution of the Docpharma company, was held today, at the Biondi Morra Castle of Morra de Sanctis. The event represented an important moment of comparison between general medicine specialists and doctors, with the aim of raising the collaboration between territorial and hospital healthcare, especially in the peripheral and less served contexts.
The congress has paid attention to a crucial issue: to guarantee continuity and appropriateness of care also in the internal areas, promoting an integrated network in which the general practitioner is an active part of the diagnostic and therapeutic path, in constant dialogue with the specialists of the large hospital centers.
To preside over the works two authoritative gure of Italian orthopedics: dr. Michele Bisaccia, head of the complex prosthetic surgery unit at the Santa Maria della Misericordia hospital in Perugia, and prof. Giuseppe Rinonapoli, associated professor at the University of Perugia, director of the School of Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology and head of the shoulder and knee surgery unit at the same hospital.
“Modern orthopedics cannot be limited to the operating room,” said dr. Michele Bisaccia. «Early diagnosis, conservative therapies and customization of treatments require constant interaction with those who work in the area. That’s where the real clinical work begins. The congress represented a concrete starting point to activate, also in Irpinia, models of truly interconnected healthcare, capable of responding in a timely and appropriate way to the needs of the population.
