Wolfsburg​ Captain Maximilian Arnold Clashes with DAZN Reporter Over Losing Streak

DORTMUND‍ – ⁢VfL ⁤Wolfsburg captain Maximilian Arnold reacted with visible ‍irritation to a reporter’s question ‍following his team’s 0-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund on Sunday evening. The exchange, broadcast on DAZN, centered around Wolfsburg’s eight-game losing streak at Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park.

reporter Jan Wochner began by stating,”I know you won’t taste it,but I have to address them… as these⁢ statistics are strange.” He then⁣ informed Arnold of the team’s losing record in Dortmund.Arnold repeatedly interrupted, responding with “completely” and shaking his head.

“Yes,of course,” Arnold conceded,before⁤ adding with disbelief,”I ‌don’t drive​ here to lose.” He emphasized he doesn’t focus on past statistics, ‌stating, ⁣”Every game⁣ starts from zero⁤ and so we ⁣start.”

The interview concluded with Wochner ⁣thanking Arnold, who briefly shook his hand before departing.

Following four match days, VfL Wolfsburg currently holds a position in the table with five points.
