Army sources indicate that each rescue column consists of between twenty-five and thirty personnel,though this number is adaptable based on the evolving situation. Currently, at least twelve civilians trapped inside a building ⁢in the Shergarh area ​of R.S. Pura are being rescued, while a parallel operation‍ is focused on ⁢evacuating students stranded within a building at SKUAST, Jammu.
