Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Texas Tech: 2030 Vegas Kickoff Classic Details

LAS VEGAS​ – The Arkansas Razorbacks and Texas Tech Red Raiders will renew their rivalry with a high-profile matchup to⁢ open the⁢ 2030 college football season,as⁣ announced today. The game,dubbed the Vegas Kickoff Classic,will ⁢be ⁣played at Allegiant Stadium,home of the Las Vegas Raiders,over ⁤Labor Day weekend (August 29 – September ​1).

This contest ‌adds to a previously scheduled home-and-home series between the two programs. Originally slated to play in Lubbock in 2030 and ⁣Fayetteville ⁢in 2031,the series has been adjusted to feature the Las Vegas opener,with the Lubbock game now moved ⁣to 2034. The Razorbacks recently defeated the Red Raiders in the 2024 AutoZone Liberty Bowl, continuing a series⁣ that dates back to their ‌days as Southwest Conference ‍rivals – a conference affiliation lasting over 30 years.

The 2030 Vegas Kickoff Classic will be nationally televised on ABC or an ESPN platform,⁤ with specific broadcast details to ‌be released at a later ⁣date.⁣ This game is part of a five-game lineup for the classic, which also includes⁢ BYU versus Oregon State (2028), Miami versus Utah (2027), North Dakota State versus Montana⁢ State (2027), and Montana‍ versus South⁤ Dakota State (2029).
