Rome Film Festival Spotlights Titanus Legacy with star-Studded Documentary

The Rome Film Festival is set to feature “Titanus 1904,” a documentary celebrating the enduring impact of the historic Italian film production house. The film utilizes the narrative voice of actress Valentina Corti and includes insights from prominent figures in Italian cinema, such as giuseppe Tornatore, Dario Argento, Franco Nero, Giovanna Ralli, Enrico vanzina, and Nino D’Angelo. These celebrated artists will share their perspectives on Titanus’s pivotal role in shaping the Italian film industry and fostering the careers of numerous actors and directors.

Directed by Giuseppe Rossi, a filmmaker hailing from Irpinia, “Titanus 1904” is described as his moast ambitious undertaking to date. Rossi’s previous work includes the fantasy short film “Blue Crystel” and critically acclaimed documentaries like “90 seconds,” which addresses the 1980 Irpinia earthquake, and “days of a past cinema,” a tribute to the history of lioni’s new cinema movement. This new project promises an extensive exploration spanning over a century of cinematic history, honoring the cultural contributions of one of the world’s oldest film production companies.

The premiere of “Titanus 1904” is scheduled for July 29,2025,at 9:00 PM in Ariano Irpino.
