Apple plans five New Product Launches Before YearS End
Apple has several product updates planned for release before the end of the year, according to reports from Bloomberg’s Mark gurman. These launches include updates to the iPad Pro,Vision Pro headset,AirTag,Apple TV,and HomePod mini.
M5 iPad Pro: A new iPad Pro is anticipated,featuring Apple’s M5 chip. This chip is expected to deliver efficiency improvements similar to those seen in the A19 Pro chip found in the latest iPhones, but on a larger scale. Speculation also suggests the new iPad Pro will include a second front-facing camera positioned in portrait orientation.
Vision Pro Upgrade: The Vision Pro headset is also slated for an update. While significant hardware changes to reduce weight aren’t expected, the device will reportedly receive a performance boost wiht a switch to the M5 chip. A new “Space Black” color option and an improved headband are also rumored.
AirTag 2: A successor to the AirTag is in progress, equipped with the U2 chip – the same chip found in the recently released AirPods Pro 3. This upgrade promises more precise location tracking capabilities.
Home Products Refresh: Apple’s smart home devices are also receiving attention. Both the Apple TV and HomePod mini are expected to receive new processors and the recently announced N1 network chip. Gurman reports the new Apple TV will support the upcoming Siri-Vemy and other Apple Intelligence features planned for next year. New color options for the HomePod mini are also a possibility.
These product releases are expected to occur before the end of the current year.
